What an amazing day to photograph outside! After all the heat we have had in the last few weeks, I am enjoying being outside!

Also, I do enjoy seeing people again for another child’s senior photos. Kiersten was fun to photograph and brought her dog, Kiara – so cute! A great example of how accessories can add to a session. We added a headband, a hat, and a scarf to her Black on Black session. It really add different looks all in one session. We did go on location to the Capital and Wilderness Ridge. Big thanks to older sister, Keisha, for helping at Wilderness Ridge (you are awesome!). Enjoy!

What a great morning for a session! Can it be 70 degrees until it snows? I really enjoyed working with Colton for his sessions. A quick smile and wit makes the session pass way too quickly. He also brought his girlfriend, Lindsey, whom we hope to see soon for her senior sessions. Thanks for a great time!

Drew’s dad told me that he probably would be by himself for the sessions – that he would do better if dad wasn’t there. So I thought at first that maybe it would be a difficult session. But Drew has a great smile and is so easy going. It’s alot to worry about – senior photos. I mean, you are going to have these for the rest of your life, so the pressure’s on. What you have to realize is, you just have to be yourself and RELAX. Just have fun with it. How often do you get all the attention on you? Enjoy it.

Sometimes 8 am is too early. Kyle and I were both feeling that way on the morning of his senior sessions. But we managed. More than managed. We got some cool images of him at Wilderness Ridge and also downtown with his baseball gear. It is so much fun to work with sports stuff in a different setting. Keeps it fresh. I think it’s funny that I picked all serious images from Chas’ sessions….he has a really nice smile too! He really did a great job – and I think he might have enjoyed it just a little!

I know that not all guys are super excited about having their senior photos taken, but let me offer my argument about why you should grin and bear it. 1) Mom will leave you alone because you had them taken. 2) You will probably end up with a few that you like. 3) There will be several that the girls like. I promise!
